MyGoodAct Beta 1.1 – New functions

Since the release of MyGoodAct Beta 1.0 29th June, a lot has happened. We are working hard with improving our service and we are pleased to give you a few updates:

• Improved user interface
• You can now view organizations, projects and profiles without being logged in
• You can start a fundraiser for any of the organizations without being logged in
• Removed hundreds of bugs
• Fundraisers will be active after submitting it, no need for approvals
• You can start as many fundraisers you want and have them running simultaneously
• Like and send buttons on profiles, projects and organizations catches the specific URL instead of the index.php
• Forgot password function is improved

We are also eager to give you a pointer of how much traffic our site is getting:

Our first week generated more than 26 000 pageviews, and over 4000 unique. Within our first 24 hours, we got 815 registered, and within 3 days the number was above 1000. Without us doing any big marketing of the service, we are slowly but steadily growing regarding users.

We are also very happy with the growth of organizations on MyGoodAct. We got now 9 verified organizations you can support on MyGoodAct and they are as following:

 

After the initial testing and bug removals we will create marketing campaigns with the different organizations to spread our service. This will probably happen in the fall of 2011 in Norway.
